Six '55 follows several fictional characters the night Allen Ginsberg recited his poem 'Howl' for the first time in San Francisco 1955. We meet the generational characters: the innocent young woman being introduced to this new world, a recently opened homosexual just beginning to be comfortable with himself and Ginsberg himself, who finds assurance in his fellow poets like Rexroth and Kerouac.
