Before We Get to Seattle
It's 1992 and Kurt Cobain's screams roar from every car stereo. Grunge rules. Seattle is the new rock n' roll center of the universe. Teenage runaway Chloe has big dreams, and her heart set on getting out of New Jersey and heading out to the West Coast to start a band. Before she hits the highway with her bass-playing, pot dealer boyfriend, Slater, she desperately needs to see her best friend Michelle one last time.
Chloe, hiding from the cops and her mother, conceals herself with a wig and sunglasses, and walks into the deli. She finds Michelle, a hot, glam rock loving blond, busy making sandwiches for a long line of inpatient, complaining customers. The two reunite and Michelle is relieved that Chloe is still alive, but infuriated for making her worry so much about her whereabouts. Anxious to hear Chloe's story, Michelle abandons her customers and the girls go to talk in their private hangout in the back of the store.
Once in the bathroom, Chloe reveals a big dilemma that she needs Michelle's common sense to help her solve. After examining their lives and choices, the girls come up with a surprising answer! Directed by April Mosqus
