Karen George

KG’s Creatives, Social Media & Facebook Ads Strategist & Manager

A life-long film fan, Karen is thrilled to be working with producers to promote their films on social media and through Facebook ads! She loves to celebrate her clients’ success right along with them. In fact, one of her clients wrote, produced, and directed an Oscar-qualified live action short! Karen also discussed social media for indie films with Joe Ruiz, Jr., Co-Founder of the Manhattan Film Festival, live on the MFF Facebook page this past December 17th.

In 2013 Karen became her own boss when she started an event planning company. As she learned about social media to promote the business, she discovered a new interest that combines creativity and research, two of her favorite things! So in 2016, she switched to social media & Facebook ads strategy and management.

Karen grew up in Texas and has lived in Houston for 20 years (by way of Corpus Christi, St. Louis, Kerrville, & San Antonio). Previous to jumping into the social media world, she was an English teacher, weight loss counselor, mental health rehab specialist, and program coordinator for a mental health advocacy and education organization.
